Notes Hey tumblr, I really need your help.I have a friend who lives in an abusive household, and she needs to get out. Like, last week.
She lives in the NYC area and is a trans woman and needs some kind of housing, temporary, anything. She just needs out.
Does anybody know of places that offer community/temporary housing that isn’t problematic to its trans youth? Or would preferentially hire a trans woman? If she can’t find community/temp housing, then having the finances to get a place of her own would be absolutely necessary.
